Wii Video 9 is a video converter for Windows computers. The application can be used in two different ways. First, it can help you to convert files on your computer so that they can be watched on a Wii gaming console. The Wii has a limited playback functionality, and thus, the need for a file converter becomes paramount. With this tool, all the files on your computer become Wii-enabled. The second use I can think of is as a video download platform. If you pair this application with another one called Videora, you can make this work as a video downloader and converter. You can even automatically schedule downloads via RSS feeds. Then, convert those files automatically to any of the formats supported. So, you could schedule a torrent download of your favorite show and then convert that to a Wii format. Also, you can use and play the converted files on any computer, since the formats that the Wii play are also widely playable on any other computer with the right codecs installed. The output files are optimized for Wii playback, though. |
